Synopsis: The widow of a sadistic old man is haunted by his ghost. A jealous husband is murdered by his wife's lover. But since he is a dealer in the occult, he is able to return to wreak revenge on the ill tempered lovers. The Ghost (originally released in Italy as Lo Spectro) is the second film by Riccardo Freda to detail the gruesome crimes of Dr. Hitchcock. In addition to The Horrible Dr. Hitchcock (1962), Freda's other legendary films include I Vampiri (1956), Caltiki, The Immortal Monster (1959) and Samson and the Seven Miracles of the World (1962).
Communist take control of two non-humanoid robots in this very good 50's sci-fi film. The robots kill scientists and destroy most of the underground lab. The many-armed robot tank GOG and its companion MAGOG are out-of-control and on a terrors spree in an attempt to take over the lab and then the Earth. Producer Ivan Tors went on to create the Science Fiction Theater TV series.
